What data we collect, and why

When you sign up for the free LEAD Framework or any other guide

We collect your email address, via a form processed by our email platform, MailerLite. We use this to send you the requested material and, if you don't unsubscribe, occasional related emails about our coaching services.

Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw this at any time by unsubscribing via the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

When you book a discovery call

Bookings are handled by Calendly, a third-party scheduling tool. Calendly collects your name, email address, and the details you choose to share in any booking form, directly on their platform. We receive that information to prepare for and conduct the call. Calendly's own processing of your data is governed by their privacy policy, available at calendly.com/privacy.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a potential contract (i.e., you asked to speak with us).

When you browse the website

If you consent via our cookie banner, we use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram advertising technology) to understand how visitors interact with the site after seeing one of our adverts, and to build audiences for future advertising. This may involve Meta processing data about your device and browsing activity in line with their own privacy policy.

Legal basis: consent, collected via the cookie banner. Nothing in this category is active until you actively opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer.

We do not use any analytics or advertising cookies beyond the Meta Pixel at the time of writing. If this changes, this policy and the cookie banner will be updated accordingly.

Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. This may involve your device requesting font files directly from Google's servers, which can reveal your IP address to Google. This is a low-risk, standard practice, disclosed here for transparency.

Who we share data with

We use the following third-party processors to run this website and our business. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf:

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any reason.

International transfers

Some of the processors above may store or process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on our processors' own compliance mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, to ensure your data remains protected to a UK standard.

How long we keep your data

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If you book a call, we keep basic records of that engagement for up to 6 years, in line with standard UK record-keeping practice for business and tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, contact us at gareth@commandpresence.co.uk. We'll respond within one month, as required by law.

How to complain

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first at gareth@commandpresence.co.uk so we can try to put it right. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and resolve them within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator:

Children

This site and our coaching services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool or service. Material changes will be reflected with a new "last updated" date at the top of this page.
